Girl Scout Troop 50126 calls themselves the pickles. They are working hard on their Bronze Award, the highest award a Girl Scout Junior can earn. On a recent hike, they noticed how much trash was in the creeks through Waverly and Foxstone parks in Vienna, VA. Please join this troop of 13 rising 5th graders working to get more trash cans in parks. 

In their own words: 

When you hurt the environment, you hurt baby animals. Help animals by putting your trash in trash cans and helping Troop 50126 get more trash cans in parks. One speck of trash can hurt a lot. 

We recently spent 1 hour cleaning up Waverly & Foxstone parks, and picked up 10 BAGS of trash.

We are speaking to Fairfax County Parks Department about our "pickles pick up the parks" project and quest to get at least 1 trash can in every park! If you can sign this petition that would be helpful!
