We speak not as members of any political party, but as healthcare professionals committed to the protection of human life and dignity. No prisoner should be subjected to conditions that foreseeably endanger physical or psychological health. Medical care must be timely, clinically independent, and guided by the needs of the patient—not political considerations. Prolonged isolation and unnecessary restriction of family and medical access warrant serious concern and independent scrutiny

1. An immediate end to any prolonged or medically unjustified solitary confinement.
2. Independent, comprehensive medical evaluation and treatment, with physicians able to exercise independent clinical judgment.
3. Full implementation of applicable court orders regarding medical care.
4. Regular access to family, legal counsel, and appropriate human contact, consistent with security requirements.
5. Independent documentation and investigation of credible allegations of mistreatment, with medical findings protected from political interference.
6. The same humane standards for every prisoner, regardless of political affiliation or status.

We do not ask anyone to agree with Imran Khan politically. We ask only that they agree with a principle that should apply to every human being: no prisoner should be denied humane treatment.
