This afternoon the Phoenix Historic Preservation Commission, by a 4-3 vote, reversed the Hearing Officer's decision, denying the application by Boxwell Southwest LLC to demolish all structures at 102 W, Cypress. The developer has until Tuesday July 5th to appeal the decision, in which case it would go to Phoenix City Council. Thanks to all who supported our efforts in opposing the demolition. We'll find out next week what lies ahead.
