Xbox might have been quiet on this, but I see a great communication from the team working at Official Gear. Plus, from what I understand (and that's MY understanding), it seems Xbox has green light to start working on proper globalization.

OVERALL IMPROVEMENTS

• It looks like Xbox is working on it, from what I heard and from what we can see (open positions in new regions for new jobs, or people within the EMEA region now on social and community lead roles).
• I have no idea what are their priorities now, but I do know our survey helped the Xbox team on what problems to approach. Of course, it's up to them to know which are crucial, which will be easier to solve, which ones will take longer, etc.
• In MY point of view, the two keys are: add more regions to the list of Xbox Live supported countries, and improve investment on the already supported ones. As we discussed in the surveys, this goes from games and merchandise, to services, events and Xbox presence overall. And this spreads even to more topics and issues that will vary depending on the region. Different regions will have different problems and challenges. There's a LOT of work ahead, I'm sure. We will have to be patient for a little longer.

XBOX OFFICIAL GEAR 

• While we have no info on most of it, the team at Xbox Official Gear was kind enough to give some details on the non-existence of a European store, for example, given that a while ago fans could order from Europe and avoid high shipping + customs costs. Their info was mainly brought by John Friend via Twitter. He confirmed the team is focused on bringing the new and cool products to the largest number of fans as easy and smooth as possible. • We still have no official news on a European store, for example, or any other, but it was noted by fans that a UK store could be "Coming Soon". https://uk.gear.xbox.com/ [NOTE: I mention EU store because a few years ago, fans could order merchandise from France, UK and Germany]
