The dogs are kept in conditions as bad as any puppy mill. Every year people who live near hunting areas are overrun with dumped & abandoned dogs that are unsocialized, riddled with parasites & disease, & near death from starvation. The dogs know no property lines or to stop for traffic at roads. Every year several are hit & left there for all that pass to enjoy. At the very least dog hunters should be required to purchase special license to help hold them accountable for their animals
