As of today, there are over 7,000 signatures on the "Say No to Petland in Memphis!" petition - and while many are from Memphis, there are lots that aren't - because anyone that cares for animals KNOWS that Petland is bad for every community.
Please keep sharing. Keep informing your community that Petland is not what this community needs - or any other! Remind them to adopt, not shop. Remind them to Google Petland and see the horrible photos and videos, the "sales pressure" comments from Petland staff, the Humane Society's investigative reporting... or even the Better Business Bureau cases! There are plenty of reasons NOT to welcome Petland - so let's make sure everyone knows (because "awww, puppies!" is hard to overcome).
