To all my fellow countrymen:

Nếu được Tự Do Bầu Cử, thì chúng ta sẽ có quyền chọn ra những Đại Biểu Quốc Hội xứng đáng, Từ Dân, Do Dân và Vì Dân, có khả năng, đủ trí tuệ, đủ can đảm... để bảo vệ Quyền Lợi của Nhân Dân và Đất Nước.

 

To all head of states:

Dear Sir and Madam,

After months of trying, facing coercion, harassment, or oppression, all the candidates who decided to run for offices in Vietnam on their own [and not approved by the Communist Party] have been unjustly "disqualified" by the Politburo through the process called "Hiệp Thương" [a committee who were appointed by the Communist Party would decide who can be qualified as a candidate in the coming General Election, without giving the Population a Fair Chance to Vote for the Candidates of their Choices].

Sau những tháng ngày tranh đấu miệt mài nhưng vô vọng, tất cả những Ứng Cử Viên Tự Do [Không do Đảng CSVN Đề Cử] đã bị "Loại", tại "Vòng Hiệp Thương III".

We are hearing you are coming to Vietnam this next weekend, from 22-25 May, 2016.

Please include in your Agendas this paramount concern that we hereby petitioning: Our Right to Participate in a True Democratic Election.

Xin vui lòng xem xét vấn đề tối quan trọng này trong Nghị Trình của ngài: Quyền được Tự Do Ứng Cử và Bỏ APhie61u trong một Cuộc Bầu Cử Dân Chủ [Thật Sự].

Please confirm with Mr. Ted Osius that The People were given a fair chance to participate in this Election. If Not, we would like you to demand the current Vietnam's Regime to Change the Laws, so that:

- Every Law-Abiding Citizens over the age of 21 be Allowed to Run for any Office in the land [as guaranteed by law, stated so in the current Vietnam's Constitution]

- The Election be Conducted Fairly and Openly so everyone can participate [or chose not to vote]

- The Votes should be Counted Fairly and Openly so that The People can be assured that their Votes Matter

We know you cannot Change The Rules [to bring about Democratic Election in Vietnam] for us.

Tuy rằng ngài không có quyền hạn để thay đổi Luật Lệ của Việt Nam.

Nhưng mong rằng ngài sẽ vẫn lên tiếng, thay cho chúng tôi, yêu cầu Đảng CSVN phải sửa đổi Luật Bầu Cử,
