Khai DaoCA, United States
Feb 21, 2016
We think it's time we revise our statement.
First off, we'd like to clarify some facts that might have been misinterpreted or misunderstood from the beginning:
- This Petition does not intend to ask/request The United Nations or The United States to interfere with [or to impose their will, standards or laws on] Vietnam's [coming] Elections [in May, this year].
- This Petition does not advocate, encourage or promote any illegal actions that the Vietnamese Government does not permit or allow their Citizens to do/participate.
- We do not belong to any Political Organizations or Parties. We do not have any Political Agenda/Ambition [such as becoming an Opposing Force/Party versus the Current Communist Party in Vietnam]. We do not support any particular "Candidate" [of our own], or try to install anyone [among our own] into the Vietnam's National Congress.
Instead, we were simply voicing our concern, and alerting International Bodies to the facts that [after the XII National Congress of The Communist Party in Vietnam in late January]:
- The Communist Party in Vietnam is at a Crossroad, and is ready for Change [Politically and Systematically]
- The Current Leaders of Vietnam [who have been toppled, prohibited from staying in offices] are also ready to consider/adopt some Changes [Ideologically and Systematically]
- The Vietnamese Citizens are also ready for a Major Change [Politically and Systematically]
We anticipated:
- There will be some Drift among Communist Politburo Members
Some Top Members may call for Changes [Systematically]
Some [Top Officials, such as Current Leaders] may break away from The Communist Party to Run for the seats of Presidency [or Prime Minister] Independently.
- The People may Rise Up and Demand a [True] Democratic Election
And, to the surprise of many people who had doubted [or even opposed] our petition from the beginning, almost all of our predictions had came true.
We are, again, asking the Leaders of The Free World, The United Nations, The President of The United States [Mr. Barack Obama], The Secretary of States of The U. S. of A. [Mr. John Kerry], and The Congress of The United States to pay more attention to these Developments, to make sure that the Citizens of Vietnam [who are demanding their God-Given Universal Basic Human Right: The Right to Vote, to participate in a Democratic Election--of the people, by the people and for the people] are being treated fairly, equally and humanely. To make sure that these brave pioneers who are standing up for a noble Cause will not be subjected to suppression, oppression or persecutions, by the hands of The Communist Regime, as a way to hang on to their power, by denying our people our Basic Universal Human Rights.
Please support our Petition, to Protect The People/Activists in Vietnam who are simply just asking their government to observe and respect their Basic Human Rights [which Vietnam had also recognized, in black and white, stated so in the Constitution].
Please help the people of Vietnam to stage their First Democratic Election, ever.
Please Sign this Petition.
Thank you.
