PETITION RE-OPENED! 

After the backlash over the last few days, Fórsa has confirmed the NCSE has written to schools to advise that special classes will continue to be assessed separately.

But this is not enough!! The other issues remain unclear.

I’ve asked the government and Andy Pike of Forsa directly if:
- The stricter limits on who qualifies still apply,
- Behaviour is still excluded,
- Whether a new circular will replace the September guidelines.

Right now, the official guidelines say one thing while politicians say another. Parents, schools and SNAs deserve clear, straight answers.

The NCSE issued guidelines in September clearly narrowed who qualifies for SNA support but the Dept of Education now claims “nothing has changed.” Fórsa has said a new Circular will be issued, but schools are still left in limbo.

We’re calling for the guidelines to be formally withdrawn and cast-iron guarantees that no child will lose their SNA support!!! Keep sharing!
