This petition is to the Town of Brookhaven. We the people that live in Brookhaven and reside on Sharon Drive, Martin Court, and Stuart  Drive , Martin Ct and Edianne Dr. in Coram do not want any utility companies to rip up our streets that we recently had paved for non emergency work.  We had to fight many years tooth and nail to have this area paved. This work will take many months and be a total mess. There will be unsightly patches all over the place. This will bring our property values down. After all this is done they will raise our prices. We do not want our street to revert back to unsightly patchwork. . We are happy with the way it is now.  If they must absolutely do this work we demand that they repave the entire area, not just throw asphalt down to patch it. They have already left a big mess of big different color markings all over the streets in the whole neighborhood which looks awful.. After this project is done, please have them repave the whole area to the way it was out of respect for us and our property.
