We, the undersigned employees, taxpayers, and citizens of New Brunswick, call upon the Government of New Brunswick to immediately address the ongoing failures of the Oracle Fusion payroll system.

Employees across the province deserve to be paid accurately, on time, and in accordance with their employment agreements. Instead, many continue to experience payroll errors, delayed corrections, inaccurate leave balances, benefit discrepancies, overtime issues, and administrative mistakes that require repeated follow-up to resolve if even able too.

These problems create financial hardship, unnecessary stress, lost productivity, and a growing lack of confidence in the government's ability to administer one of its most basic responsibilities—paying its employees correctly.

The impact extends beyond employees. Payroll errors consume countless hours of administrative work, increase costs to taxpayers, divert resources from essential public services, and undermine confidence in the management of public funds.

This petition is not directed at the dedicated payroll staff who work to resolve these issues. It is directed at those responsible for ensuring New Brunswick has a payroll system that is accurate, reliable, transparent, and accountable.

We respectfully call upon the Government of New Brunswick to:

1)Launch an independent public review of the Oracle Fusion payroll system.

2)Publicly disclose the number and nature of payroll errors, the cost of correcting them, and the measures being taken to prevent future issues.

3)Commit the resources necessary to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time.

4)Establish clear performance standards for resolving payroll issues and report publicly on progress.

5)Develop and publish a transparent action plan with measurable timelines to restore confidence in the payroll system.

And finally If Oracle Fusion cannot consistently provide accurate and reliable payroll, undertake a comprehensive evaluation of alternative payroll solutions.

This is a call for accountability, transparency, and responsible stewardship of public resources.

Every employee deserves accurate pay.

Every taxpayer deserves confidence that public money is being managed responsibly.

The Government of New Brunswick must act now to restore trust in its payroll system and ensure that this ongoing issue is resolved once and for all.
