As a recent high school graduate and current first-year student at Florida State University, I have realized how quickly financial decisions become part of everyday life. Whether it's managing a budget, understanding credit cards, or paying for college, these are skills every student should have before graduating from high school.

While researching the effects of financial literacy education, I learned that students who take these courses are more likely to make responsible financial decisions and less likely to carry credit card debt as young adults. These classes provide important knowledge that benefits students long after graduation.
