This petition is born out of a personal love and deep concern for the Central Islip Soccer Club , a vital part of our community since 2009. Our Nonprofitable Club has served numerous generations, drawing 19 teams from all through Central Islip and beyond, fostering talent, camaraderie, and a love for the sport. Now, we are facing an unjust challenge.

PAL, a more influential entity, has introduced a soccer program and is requesting that the town commandeer the fields our children have known as home — for their own convenience, not community betterment.

They are proposing the relocation of our 19 teams to different locations, causing unnecessary disruption to practices and games. This is damaging to the continuity of our children's development in the sport, and instilling mistrust in the fairness of our local leaders. 

If PAL truly wanted to contribute positively to our community, they would focus on establishing their own fields instead of trying to expel our beloved Central Islip Soccer Club. Their actions suggest an unsettling lack of understanding of the negative impact their proposal will have on the young lives involved in our soccer club.

The town appears to be favoring PAL. Our children don’t deserve to lose their playing field because of PAL’s greater sway in our area.

We appeal to the town leadership of Central Islip – stand with us in protecting our young athletes and preserve the Central Islip Soccer Club fields from PAL's encroachment. Let’s give our children their field of dreams back. Our community needs your commitment and your swift action.
