Petition to stop the cruel practice of parading elephants as part of festivals in Kerala

This video clearly shows the reaction of elephants which are forced to stand hours amidst high decibel sounds and moving crowds of people. Kerala State Government and Union Government of India at present favour the cruel practice of parading elephants at festivals. For each organizer of a festival, there is only one day for festival enjoyment. But the elephants are misused and abused 24 hours for seven months in a year as part of festivals. The physical attack by one elephant on other is a clear sign of its stress due to continuous parading in festivals. Generally elephants do not like crowds of people or high decibel sounds emitted from percussion instruments. This type of unnecessary display of elephants at festival places is quite dangerous for precious lives of elephants and human beings. Therefore I draw your kind attention to issue an urgent government order banning all types of parading of elephants in all states of Indian Union.
