We, the dedicated players of Archeage in the Western regions (NA and EU), are deeply concerned by the recent announcement of server closures on June 27th, 2024. This decision has been made without any prior communication or explanation to the active and passionate player base.

We believe that shutting down the servers is a drastic and unnecessary measure. Here's why:

• Strong Community: Archeage boasts a dedicated and sizable player base in both North America and Europe. We are a passionate community that invests significant time and resources into the game. 
  For alot of us, Archeage has been not only a game, but also a part of daily routine, a home!
  
  
• Unique Gameplay: Archeage offers a unique blend of sandbox, open-world exploration, and engaging combat mechanics that are unmatched by any other game on the market. There is no other Game like Archeage, period.
  
  
• Potential for Growth: With proper communication and community engagement, there is immense potential to revitalize the game and attract new players.
  
  

We, the undersigned, urge KakaoGames to reconsider their decision to shut down the servers. We are willing to help in any way possible to keep Archeage alive and thriving in the West. But for this, KakaoGames and the Community need to work together:

• Open a transparent dialogue with the community. Explain the reasoning behind the shutdown and explore potential solutions with the players.
  
  
• Work with the Western playerbase to find ways to keep the servers open. This could involve exploring alternative funding models, community-driven initiatives, or partnerships with other entities.
  Also there are alot of untried sources of income like an actual Marketplace item rotation, items like Costumes that never really have been sold and are yet unavailabe or special offers for credits. Nothing of those really has been tried by KakaoGames while having great potential.

Please, KakaoGames, reconsider your decision and work with the community to save Archeage in the West!
