The Issue

To: U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and Members of the U.S. Congress

No child should grow up without a mother's love. We, the undersigned, urgently call upon U.S. immigration authorities to grant immediate visa on humanitarian basis for Mrs. Aneela Shakeel—a devoted Pakistani mother cruelly separated from her U.S. citizen husband and their American-born children.
Aneela’s only “crime” was overstaying a visa —no fraud, no criminal record, no deceit—just a desperate wish to build a safe, stable life for her young family.  she wakes each morning to an empty ache where her children’s laughter should be. Her husband, an American citizen, fights back tears as he tucks their three children into bed alone.
This is not justice.

At the time of her departure, Aneela already had an approved I-130 petition, an approved I-212 waiver, and an approved I-601A provisional waiver. She had completed her consular interview, but instead of being reunited with her family as expected, her case was placed into “administrative processing”—a vague and indefinite delay that has left this loving mother stranded abroad and her family torn apart.

This is a family shattered by bureaucracy.

Aneela entered the United States legally on a K-1 visa. Like so many, she stayed beyond her authorized period because love and family took root here. She married Shakeel, gave birth to three beautiful U.S. citizen children, and poured her heart into raising them with love and faith. She has no criminal history—not a single arrest, not even a traffic violation. Yet now exiled her to a country where she has no support system, no safety net, and constant fear for her safety as a woman living alone without her family.

Aneela   was under ICE supervision and never missed a single check-in appointment. She complied with every requirement, proving her full cooperation and trust in the immigration process.

Then, without warning, she was given a deadline to leave the country on a very short notice. Determined to follow the law and protect her future with her family, she departed before the deadline, leaving behind her husband and three young U.S. citizen children.

This family is American in every way that matters. Aneela’s children are U.S. citizens by birthright. Her husband is a citizen. Their home, their school, their lives are all in the United States—the only home these children have ever known. Deporting their mother does not protect borders; it punishes innocence.
We beg you—please use your authority to bring Aneela home.

We respectfully request to

Grant her urgent visa so she can return immediately to her U.S. citizen children.
recognizing the extreme hardship her absence causes her family.
Every day apart deepens this family’s suffering.

Every signature, every share brings them one step closer to healing.
Please, be the reason three little American citizens get their mother back.

Let their tears of despair turn into tears of joy when Aneela walks through her front door again—arms open, heart full, family whole.
Aneela belongs with her family. Reunite them now.

Sign below to demand mercy, justice, and love prevail.
