​The Problem 

Management recently announced that starting May 1st, guests will be required to pay for parking. We, the residents, believe this policy is an unnecessary financial burden that negatively impacts our ability to host friends, family, and caregivers.

​Historically, the tenant experience at this complex has been marked by inability to control in unit climate systems despite being charged for electricity, failure of climate control during a brutal winter, subpar in-unit building materials for the price that's being paid, elevator failures that trap residents, and so much more. 

Adding a guest parking fee—without a corresponding increase in property value or service quality—feels like an opportunistic charge rather than a necessary improvement. This policy:

• ​Discourages social visits and community building.
• Creates an additional expense for residents’ support systems.
• Complicates the logistics of visiting a home we already pay a premium to live in.

​The Solution
​We, the undersigned, call upon management to immediately rescind the plan to charge for guest parking. We request that guest parking remain a complimentary service for all residents and their visitors, as has been the standard practice.
