I support the calls from Blackwood Environment Society Inc. and Bridgetown – Greenbushes Friends of the Forest Inc. for the Honorable David Michael MLA, Minister for Mines and Petroleum, to use the Minister’s powers under section 111A of the Mining Act to reject the Flinders Prospecting Pty Ltd mining exploration tenements (E70/6654 and E70/6655) over 32,000 hectares of forest in the Dalgarup and Donnelly region.
