I am a student who is deeply frustrated with the ban in our study hall on phones. Although I see the point in a phone ban in our classes, I disagree with the ban in our study hall. I believe this, because Study Hall is time to catch up on your work, decompress, and have an hour to yourself in the school day. Not allowing phones prevents this, because it restricts us from our ability to decompress with activities on phones like social media, games, and messages.  Therefore, I would like to petition to remove the ban in Study Halls by the VDOE(Virginia department of Education), along with Loudoun County creating exceptions for study hall in their rules to regulate phone usage in Loudoun County Public schools.
