Petition to remaster Cataclysm

Petition to remaster Cataclysm
The Issue
This petition seeks to address the fundamental issues with Cataclysm, which marked the first expansion in World of Warcraft history to experience a decline. The problems introduced during this expansion have had lasting effects, and subsequent expansions have struggled to recover from this downward trend.
I have to criticise World of Warcraft: Cataclysm for its lack of centralization and a coherent sense of conquest. I felt that the expansion spread content too thinly across various zones, diminishing the feeling of a unified narrative. Additionally, the main antagonist, Deathwing, lacked meaningful interactions with players, which detracted from the emotional weight of the storyline.
A significant complaint is the constant presence of Deathwing flying through every zone, which many found to be excessive and detracting from immersion. Furthermore, the introduction of the Dragon Soul raid felt random and disconnected, leading to a perception that it did not align well with the overall narrative.
For me, a centralized expansion focused on Deathwing, the leader of the Black Dragonflight, in Blackrock Mountain could provide a more cohesive experience for players. This approach would allow for a unified storyline that highlights Deathwing’s significance while deepening the lore of the Black Dragonflight and the historical importance of Blackrock Mountain.
By vastly expanding the zones in that area, introducing new factions, and adding substantial new content, we could create a sense of unity and purpose that was missing in Cataclysm. This approach would not only enhance the narrative but also foster a stronger connection between players and the world. I am talking about more underground area, dwarven clan conflict, large scale battles, maybe even make friends with dark iron rebels. Blizzard would then have to redirect the existing leveling zones elsewhere or incorporate them into their late game strategy.
