Petition to Relocate the Proposed Data Center Near I-10 and Bolton Road, Cibolo, Texas

We, the people of Cibolo and the surrounding areas, respectfully ask city officials and the developer to relocate the proposed data center to a more appropriate industrial location.

We support economic growth and recognize that data centers provide important services and jobs. However, we believe this project is being placed in the wrong location.

The proposed site is surrounded by farmland, livestock, and native wildlife. Large industrial developments belong in areas planned for industrial use, and not near active farms and ranches.

We are concerned about the potential effects on wildlife habitat, water resources, traffic, noise, and the long-term future of local agriculture. We also ask that independent experts evaluate whether construction activity, continuous equipment noise, vibration, or electromagnetic infrastructure could affect livestock health and animal welfare before the project moves forward.

We respectfully ask local leaders to:

    Relocate the project to an existing industrial area.
    Complete independent environmental, water, noise, and agricultural impact studies.
    Give residents, farmers, and ranchers a meaningful opportunity to be heard before any final decisions are made.

Cibolo can continue to grow while protecting the farmland, wildlife, and rural heritage that make our community unique. We believe responsible growth means choosing the right project in the right place.
