PETITION UPDATE: DESTINY PROJECT NOW IN A CRITICAL DECISION PHASE

Dear Supporters,

Thank you for standing with us in protecting the future of St. Kitts and Nevis.

We want to provide an important update on the proposed Destiny Project and Special Sustainability Zone (SSZ) framework.

Recent public statements from Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew confirm that the Destiny Project proposal remains under active review by the Federal Government. No final approval has been granted, and the government has indicated that it is carefully considering the constitutional, legal, immigration, customs, security, and sovereignty implications of the proposal.

At the same time, reports indicate that recommendations have been made to amend the SSZ legislation, and those recommendations are expected to be considered by Parliament. This means the framework under which the project would operate is still being examined and could change.

These developments show that public engagement remains critically important.

Our petition was launched because many citizens and supporters believe that decisions of this magnitude require full transparency, meaningful public consultation, and careful consideration of the long-term impact on our nation. The concerns raised by petition supporters continue to be relevant as the review process moves forward.

The fact that the proposal is still under review demonstrates that the voices of citizens matter. Every signature sends a clear message that the people of St. Kitts and Nevis deserve to be heard before any irreversible commitments are made.

We have now reached 865 signatures.

Our next milestone is 1,000 signatures.

Reaching 1,000 signatures will strengthen our collective voice and demonstrate the continuing public interest in ensuring that any decision regarding the Destiny Project and the SSZ framework is made with full transparency and accountability.

How you can help:

Share the petition with family and friends.
Post the petition link on social media.
Encourage supporters abroad to participate.
Ask others to stay informed and engaged as the review process continues.
Together, we can ensure that the future of St. Kitts and Nevis is shaped through openness, accountability, and the informed participation of its people.

Thank you for your continued support.

Next Target: 1,000 Signatures
Every signature counts. Every voice matters.

The process is still ongoing.
