🚧 PETITION TO PERMANENTLY CLOSE AN UNUSED & UNFORMED ROAD RESERVE

We are calling for the permanent closure of the unformed road reserve “Steven street” that runs through multiple adjoining properties in west Toodyay. 

This reserve is not a functioning road, has not been constructed as a usable road and provides no practical road access. Large sections are heavily overgrown and occupied by established native trees, wildlife and vegetation, making it unsuitable for its intended purpose as a road corridor.

The reserve cuts through multiple privately owned properties and, in its current state, serves no practical purpose as a road.

We believe it is time for the future of this land to be properly considered and for the road reserve to be permanently closed, rather than remaining an unused and unformed corridor indefinitely.

Permanent closure would provide a more practical outcome for the affected properties and allow the land to be appropriately dealt with rather than retaining a road reserve that is not being used or developed as a road.

We are asking local residents, affected property owners and members of the community who support this proposal to sign this petition.
