We, the undersigned, are deeply concerned about the growing trend of *Roblox Storytime* videos, which have become a problematic source of toxic and harmful content, especially for younger audiences. These unscripted videos, filled with copied material and unoriginal content, normalize inappropriate behaviors and exploit vulnerable children in the following ways:

 

### **Reasons to Ban Roblox Storytimes:**

 

1. **Unscripted and Uncreative Content:**

   - Roblox Storytimes lack originality, with these videos copying each other or pulling faces and avatars straight from Google, resulting in repetitive and uncreative content.

   

2. **Inappropriate Superpowers and Edited Effects:**

   - These videos feature cringeworthy superpowers, such as lasers and fireballs, that are poorly edited into the video, detracting from the experience and adding no real value to the story. This lack of creativity and realism sends confusing messages to young viewers.

 

3. **Bullying and Discriminatory Behavior:**

   - A constant theme in these videos is the bullying of characters, particularly those depicted as being "poor" or "bacon," a term used to insult new or inexperienced players. These stories glorify materialism, with characters often bragging about their wealth and Robux (in-game currency).

   - **Adults bullying children** is another serious issue. Grown adult characters in these stories are depicted as bullying 13-year-olds or even younger, which sets a dangerous example for young viewers and normalizes harmful behavior.

   

4. **Impersonation of Public Figures:**

   - All of these videos impersonate well-known figures, including the **CEO of Roblox and his family**, creating false narratives and misleading content. This crosses into potentially illegal territory and spreads misinformation.

 

5. **Cringe and Toxic Online Dating:**

   - These videos promote online dating between pixelated avatars, with avatars depicted using real-world faces pulled from Google, leading to inappropriate depictions of relationships. This includes promoting romantic relationships between characters that are young children or avatars with unrealistic expectations.

 

6. **Exploitation of Kids’ Creativity:**

   - Instead of fostering original ideas and creative gameplay, Roblox Storytimes stifle imagination by recycling the same plots, faces, and characters across videos. It encourages children to focus on copying rather than being creative themselves.

 

7. **Botted Comments and Toxic Fanbase:**

   - The comments sections on these videos are often filled with **bot-like** interactions, dismissing valid criticisms by calling critics “haters.” This further reinforces a toxic culture, where any critical opinion is met with hostility, rather than fostering constructive discussion.

 

8. **Serious Problem with Adult Themes:**

   - Roblox Storytime videos contain subtle or overt adult themes, such as online dating, jealousy, and even **“the dirty”** being implied. These are highly inappropriate for the platform’s primary demographic, which consists of young children.

We believe that Roblox Storytime videos should be banned from all platforms, including YouTube, to protect young audiences from exposure to inappropriate content, toxic behaviors, and uncreative, copied material. Roblox should remain a platform for creativity and fun, not a breeding ground for harmful content.
