We, the undersigned residents and property owners of Ravenna Township, formally oppose the proposed bike path extension for the following reasons:

The proposed bike path raises significant concerns regarding environmental impact, property rights, fiscal responsibility, and community priorities. We believe this project requires more thorough evaluation and consideration of alternatives before moving forward.

Our Requests:

We respectfully request that Ravenna Township:

Halt all development on the proposed bike path immediately until the concerns outlined below are properly addressed.

Complete a full Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EAW) to evaluate the project's potential impacts on our community's natural resources, wildlife habitats, water quality, and existing ecosystems.

Explore alternative routes that do not infringe on private property rights and minimize disruption to established neighborhoods and landowners.

Prioritize EXISTING community needs by redirecting tax dollars toward maintaining and improving current infrastructure, roads, and essential services that directly benefit all township residents.

We believe our community deserves transparent decision-making, respect for property rights, and responsible stewardship of taxpayer resources. We urge the Township Board to listen to the voices of those most directly affected by this proposal.
