Petition to Officially Label FBA & ADOS A Hate Group

The Issue

FBA is a xenophobic hate group that operates as a cult started by cult leader & self proclaimed pimp Tariq Nasheed. The ideology is meant to denigrate black immigrants and to ultimately put a target on their back. They use genocidal language against black immigrants referring to them as “tethers” and believe the rest of the black diaspora outside of America are the cause of their problems and must be stopped.

There are multiple subsets of these Black Radical Extremists including:

1) ADOS (American Descendants of Slavery) &

2) #SecureTheTribe

3) Freedmen

4) B1 (Black First)

The term “tether” is used to frame black immigrants as parasites with a nefarious agenda against FBA & ADOS members — who are “taking” resources and that a mass presence of these black immigrants in America will ultimately “replace” them (FBA & ADOS). This is a newer version of The Great Replacement Theory, a far right wing white nationalist ideology that many mass shooters subscribe to, which directly makes references to black immigrants and calls for members to take action to prevent a hostile “takeover” and “replacement.”

These hate groups have called for the annihilation of black immigrants in America while defending the use of the confederate flag as an essential part of their “lineage” and “legacy.”

They use misleading information and delusive, false and fallacious history to rewrite or re-interpret black history. The FBA is built off hatred of black imigrants. They don't believe in the trans atlantic slave trade and believe black people were already in America. Members have a belief that all black Americans are Native American or Indigenous to the Americas, which they call turtle island. Most of them call themselves Moors or Indians to separate themselves from the rest of the black diaspora as they believe this will help their claim to reparations. Even to this day, no local, state or federal government has acknowledged them.

Membership into the group requires an extensive process to ensure the prospective candidate has no ties to black immigrants. Annual conferences are run by their leader. The ideology in practice is similar to right wing extremist groups, and seeks to diminish the role of black women in America, pushing for the eradication of black LGBT men and women (a practice they call “buck breaking”) and returning to traditional male dominant societies. The means to achieve this end is through violence not legislation.

ADOS is mentored & funded by Mark Krikorian and Roy Beck from Center For Immigration Studies (CIS) which is already officially recognized as a hate group. Yvette Carnell did work with Progressives For Immigration Reform(PFIR), another extremist anti immigrant group.

B1 or “Black First” is an ideology and purity test to determine if you’re for this extreme brand of blackness otherwise you’re labeled a “coon.” This is another xenophobic segment and many FBA members hide behind the term.

All of these groups talk about the physical characteristics of black people outside of America using derogatory descriptions and believe black immigrants should be put in internment camps.

They usually congregate on telegram, Clubhouse and X/Twitter spaces using hashtag #securethetribe or #FBA making violent threats to black immigrants and doxing any supporters of black immigrants, which they call “off code.”

The most recent attack in NYC was committed by Frank James, a follower of Tariq Nasheed and built solely off Black Alt right Anti Immigration extremism.

Their cult leader Tariq Nasheed looks for media reports involving black people and if it's a negative report, he makes sure he highlights that the individual is a black immigrant to further the narrative that black immigrants are a problematic group for the purpose of being rejected, maligned and isolated within the black community. In many instances there have been no proof that the individual is a black immigrant but he uses it as an opportunity to further the hate campaign to bring some legitimacy to the hateful claims he has made against black people with immigrant backgrounds and to entice new followers to adopt the ideology. A Nigerian man was recently murdered by his girlfriend. The cult leader and his followers mocked his death.

As Africans in Ukraine worked in freezing cold weather to cross the border into Poland during the early stages of the Russia/Ukraine war, members of ADOS, FBA, Freedmen, B1, and #SecureTheTribe mocked them, and stated that they wish a woman who was seen holding a new born, baby freeze overnight.

A black entrepreneur breaking into the tech space was targeted by FBA with insults and threats.

The most recent disinformation campaign is against Haitian immigrants falsely claiming they're eating neighbors' cats and dogs.

Lastly, the cult is organizing with other factions of the cult to call ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) on black immigrants.

It is important for the public to make a clear distinction between the rich and honorable legacy of Black Americans versus the dark, hateful and xenophobic motivations of FBA. This is why we must not conflate the two groups. One is a hate group, and the majority of black Americans want no affiliation with them at all. The goal is to have SPLC recognize this group as a HATE GROUP, to reflect the sentiments of the general public.

This distinction will help preserve the true legacy of Africa  American people and our African ancestors.
