Fair Representation:

Restructure the EMS governing board into five regional districts, each represented by:

• 1 working ER physician
• 1 full-time street paramedic
  Real decisions need real voices from the frontlines.

Stronger Scope of Practice:

Adopt Washington State’s EMS protocols, allowing paramedics to:

• Administer blood in the field
• Use of portable ultrasound
• Perform Rapid Sequence Intubation (RSI)

Provide advanced critical care with proper training
This isn’t fantasy—it’s already saving lives in other states.

Updated Ambulance Equipment (State Requirement):

Every ambulance should be equipped with:

• Autoloading stretchers (to reduce EMT injuries)
• Refrigerated drug/blood storage
• Ultrasound machines
• Lactated Ringers
• Lucas devices (automated CPR)
• 2+ IV pumps & mechanical ventilators

This is 2025. Let’s act like it.

One State. One Protocol.

• Unify the entire state under one evidence-based EMS protocol, including RSI.

Medical Licensure for EMS Providers:

• Give all EMTs and Paramedics state-issued medical licenses—like nurses and respiratory therapists.
  It’s time to recognize EMS as medicine, not transportation.
