KEEP PROMOTING SIGNATURES FOR THE PETITION!!! It appears that the Columbus Recreation and Parks Department wants to revisit the issue of charging fees for programs that have been offered without a fee. Hopefully, they are HONESTLY seeking information from the public, and not just circling back around to "check the box" to say they've held public forums so they can make whatever decision they desire.  We'll keep hope alive.  

Below are upcoming meetings that have been scheduled to address Senior Programs and fees; please make an effort to attend and relay your concerns/desires to the Columbus Recreation and Parks representatives:
    •    Gillie Community Center: Tuesday, Feb. 1 | 11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
    •    Thompson Community Center: Tuesday, Feb. 3 | 11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
    •    Barnett Community Center: Wednesday, Feb. 4 | 12–1 p.m.
    •    Marion Franklin Community Center: Monday, Feb. 9 | 11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
    •    Dodge Community Center: Wednesday, Feb. 11 | 12–1 p.m.
