To those who spread the word, prayed, gave this issue media coverage and air time, submitted correspondence (including via U.S. mail, email, and phone calls), signed the petition, showed up at the 12/9/2025 Columbus Recreation and Parks Commission meeting and those who gave testimony at the meeting, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!

Thanks to all YOUR effort, during the Tuesday, 12/9/2025 meeting of the Columbus Community Recreation and Parks Commission, Director Reese stated the proposed fees will be "HALTED"; no fee is to be implemented.  This is a testament of how vital is our collective voice. Again, thank YOU!

As we move forward, please remain vigilant and engaged in what is happening around our city.  It is important that those we elect into office and those whom they hire reflect in their decisions OUR collective desire and remain attentive to OUR collective voice.  Your involvement is much appreciated.
