So you’re thinking of striking

If and when you decide to strike you had better know what you are doing and why. It is a big decision. And that means it is really important to have leadership whose first thought every single day is the welfare and interests of union members—and not whether they will be fired by the district for serious misconduct or even arrested by the police for crimes against children! 

And when a union, in the form of the board of directors, insists members have to suffer that kind of leadership, it makes members rightly question the judgment of that board.
