Sir,

            I submit this plea expecting that you as the Prime Minister of India will find time to convene a statutory meeting of National Wildlife Board to discuss  the urgent matter of saving the precious lives of elephants living in forest areas of South India. Because of the dereliction of duty on part of both the officials of Prime Ministers Office and officials of MoEF, the Gaja -10 report which was submitted to the Union Govt of India during 2010, the elephants roaming through Indian forest are facing threats to their lives. Even after the expiry of two years, you are not showing any interest to implement it. The Gaja – 10 report was submitted to the Union Govt of India as a Future plan of Action to conserve the lives of Asian Elephants in India. But You and your council of ministers stay away from the responsibility of implementing the proposals of Gaja -10 for past two years. I expect that your authoritative office issue strict orders to your subordinate officers to initiate strict punitive action against all those persons who were party to this type of organized wildlife crime against wild elephants in forests.
