Petition to Expel the United States from the United Nations for Violations of Human Rights

The Issue

**To the United Nations General Assembly:**

We, the undersigned, call upon the international community to take decisive action by expelling the United States of America from the United Nations. The United States has repeatedly violated the core principles of human rights, economic justice, and international law that the United Nations was founded to protect. Through its actions, the U.S. has fostered global inequality, perpetuated racial and economic oppression, and supported regimes that engage in apartheid and colonialism.

**Grounds for Expulsion:**

**1. Systemic Racism and Domestic Oppression:**

   - The United States has perpetuated centuries of racial oppression against Black Americans, Indigenous peoples, and other marginalized groups. Despite being a signatory to various human rights treaties, the U.S. continues to allow and even endorse police brutality, mass incarceration, and systemic discrimination.
   - The economic exploitation of Black Americans, built on a legacy of slavery, Jim Crow, and segregation, continues unabated, with wealth disparities widening and reparations denied.

**2. Global Economic Exploitation:**

 - The United States, through its corporate influence and capitalist structures, has imposed economic systems on developing countries that exacerbate poverty and inequality. U.S.-backed corporations extract resources, exploit labor, and perpetuate environmental degradation in pursuit of profit, disregarding the sovereignty and rights of the affected nations.
   - These practices violate the right to self-determination and economic justice as enshrined in the UN Charter and the International Covenant on Economic, Social, and Cultural Rights.

**3. Support for Zionist Racism and Apartheid:**

 - The U.S. continues to provide political, military, and financial support to the Israeli state, which maintains an apartheid system over the Palestinian people. This support enables the illegal occupation of Palestinian territories and the systemic violation of Palestinian human rights.
   - By backing Zionist policies that uphold ethnic segregation and economic oppression, the U.S. directly contravenes the UN’s opposition to colonialism and racial discrimination.

**4. Violation of International Law:**

 - The U.S. has repeatedly violated international law through unilateral military interventions, the use of economic sanctions as a weapon of war, and the undermining of international institutions. These actions destabilize regions, harm civilian populations, and disregard the UN’s mission to promote peace and security.
   - From Iraq and Afghanistan to Libya and beyond, U.S. interventions have resulted in millions of deaths, the displacement of entire populations, and the destruction of nations’ sovereignty.

**5. Obstruction of Global Climate Action:**

 - Despite being one of the largest historical contributors to climate change, the U.S. has consistently blocked meaningful global climate action. It has undermined international agreements like the Paris Climate Accord, prioritized corporate profit over the environment, and failed to take responsibility for its disproportionate contribution to global environmental degradation.

 - This willful negligence disproportionately affects developing countries and communities of color, both within the U.S. and globally, violating their rights to health, clean water, and a sustainable future.

**Call for Action:**

We demand that the United Nations:
- **Expel the United States from the United Nations**, as its actions are in direct contradiction to the UN’s mission of promoting peace, justice, human rights, and economic equity.
- Establish an independent investigation into U.S. violations of human rights and international law, including its support for apartheid, systemic racism, and economic exploitation.
- Support movements for reparations and economic justice for Black Americans, Indigenous peoples, and those harmed by U.S. imperialism

   **Conclusion:**

The United States has repeatedly shown itself to be a global actor that undermines the fundamental principles of human dignity, equality, and justice. For the credibility of the United Nations and its role in promoting a fair and just international order, the U.S. must be held accountable for its ongoing violations. We call on the global community to stand with oppressed peoples worldwide and take this critical step toward justice and accountability.
