Petition to Expand Coachella Valley Animal Campus for the Welfare of Our Animals

As concerned members of the Coachella Valley community, we are deeply invested in the welfare of the animals at the Coachella Valley Animal Campus.

Our shelter has been serving the community for many years, but while our population has grown significantly, the shelter’s capacity has not.

This has led to heartbreaking overcrowding and, tragically, the euthanasia of healthy, adoptable animals simply because there isn’t enough space.

We, the undersigned, urge Riverside County Animal Services and the Riverside County Board of Supervisors to take immediate action to allocate funds and utilize available land to expand the shelter’s facilities.

Our community has shown an overwhelming willingness to help, and with expanded space and resources, we can save countless lives and provide a safer, more humane environment for the animals who need us most.
