Petition to Ensure Alfred Amore Serves His Full Sentence for Child Exploitation Crimes

The Issue

Dear Williamson County Parents and Citizens,

We, the undersigned, are deeply disturbed by the heinous crimes committed by Alfred Amore, a former Williamson County elementary school teacher, who has been convicted of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor. It has come to our attention that Amore will have a parole hearing on July 12, 2023 with a potential for early parole after only serving 2 years of his 6 year sentence for possessing images of apparent child sexual abuse material on his electronic devices, with the victims depicted in the images appearing to be innocent toddlers.

We believe that the safety and well-being of our children should be of the utmost importance, and those who exploit and harm them must face appropriate consequences for their actions. We call upon the Tennessee Department of Corrections and the judicial system to ensure that Alfred Amore serves his entire six-year prison sentence without any early release or parole.

Amore's arrest by the Williamson County Sheriff's Office (WCSO) Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC) and the Spring Hill Police Department highlights the severity of his crimes. Not only was he charged with Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, but he was also found in possession of Methamphetamine and Drug Paraphernalia. These additional charges underscore the dangerous nature of his activities and the need to keep him incarcerated for the full duration of his sentence.

By signing this petition, we are urging the Tennessee Department of Corrections to take the following actions:

  • Deny any request for early release or parole for Alfred Amore.
  • Ensure that Amore serves his entire six-year prison sentence.
Prioritize the protection of children by demonstrating a strong stance against individuals involved in child exploitation crimes.

We believe that justice must be served, not only for the victims affected by Amore's actions but also as a deterrent for potential offenders. Our community must send a clear message that the safety and welfare of our children are paramount.

We encourage concerned citizens to contact the Tennessee Department of Corrections at victim.witness@tn.gov with the email subject "Alfred Amore Prison ID 640607" and express your support for Mr. Amore serving his full sentence. Please let your voices be heard by sharing your thoughts and concerns regarding this case before the Parole Hearing scheduled for July 12, 2023.

Together, we can make a difference in protecting our children and ensuring justice is served for the victims of child exploitation crimes.
