Kerala Wants V. D. Satheesan as Chief Minister

This petition comes from balanced, unbiased, and politically aware voters across Kerala who believe that the future of the state must be decided by the will of the people.

A large section of voters who supported the UDF did so because of the vision, mission, and leadership presented by V. D. Satheesan. For many young voters, professionals, first-time voters, and even neutral voters, Satheesan became the face of hope, accountability, secular values, and progressive leadership in Kerala.

His stand against corruption, governance failures, and communal politics connected strongly with people who are tired of traditional political narratives. At a time when divisive forces are trying to polarize society, Satheesan consistently stood for unity, inclusivity, and the democratic spirit Kerala is known for.

Kerala’s youth are looking for leadership that understands their reality — unemployment, migration, rising living costs, and the need for real development. Satheesan’s politics reflects the aspirations of this generation:

It is important for the Congress High Command to understand one thing clearly: many people voted for the UDF because they believed in the leadership and direction represented by V. D. Satheesan.

The public sentiment in Kerala today is strongly in his favour.

Appointing anyone else as Chief Minister despite this overwhelming public support would be seen by many voters as one of the biggest political blunders Congress could make in Kerala. It would send a message that the voice of the people, especially the youth, does not matter.
This is not about internal group politics. This is about respecting the mandate, emotions, and expectations of the people of Kerala.

We urge the Congress High Command to listen to the people and choose V. D. Satheesan as the Chief Ministerial face of Kerala.

Let Kerala move forward with leadership that people genuinely trust, believe in, and voted for.
