Dear Neighbors,

We're reaching out to address parking challenges on Fitzgerald Street and nearby areas caused by nightly street cleaning from Monday to Friday, 12am-6am.

This frequent schedule disrupts our ability to find consistent parking and adds unnecessary stress to daily life. To alleviate this issue, we propose reverting to a weekly street cleaning schedule.

This adjustment will:

1. Increase Parking Availability: Reducing street cleaning to once a week will free up more parking spaces daily and nightly.
2. Reduce Inconvenience: Less frequent cleaning means less frequent car moves, saving time and effort.
3. Maintain Cleanliness: Weekly cleaning is sufficient to keep streets clean without nightly disruptions.

We've informed District Supervisor Shamann Walton and need signatures from 70% of neighbors on the block to proceed with our petition to the Department of Public Works.
