Bring Dancing with the Stars to the UK! 🇬🇧🪩

We are calling on Disney+, ABC and UK broadcasters and streaming platforms to make the US version of Dancing with the Stars legally available to viewers in the United Kingdom.

Dancing with the Stars has a huge and passionate international fanbase, yet UK viewers currently do not have straightforward access to the US series.

This is especially frustrating when the Dancing with the Stars franchise is already reaching UK audiences through DWTS - The Next Pro, which was wildly successful with the brits! Especially with the AJ link (and drama😅😅😅)

We believe UK fans should have the opportunity to legally watch the US series alongside viewers in other territories.

We aren’t asking for special treatment. We’re asking for access.

Whether that means making the series available on Disney+ UK, licensing it to another UK broadcaster or streaming service, or finding another legal distribution option, we simply want a legitimate way for UK fans to watch the show.

The demand is already there. UK viewers are actively discussing the show, searching for ways to watch it and asking online why they cannot access it.

The timing is particularly important. Season 35 of Dancing with the Stars premieres in the United States on 15 September 2026, with the new season streaming live on Disney+ in the US.

The UK should not have to watch from the sidelines. And it wouldn’t be the case of competing with Strictly, they are two different shows and follow different formats - yes there are similarities, but the entertainment factors are both within their own personalities and style. I believe there is room for both!  Nothing wrong with more dancing! 

We are asking Disney+, ABC, BBC Studios and UK broadcasters and streaming platforms to listen to UK fans and give us a legal way to watch Dancing with the Stars. Thank you!
