Petition to Arvada: Give FrontLine Farming a 99-Year Lease at Majestic View
Petition to Arvada: Give FrontLine Farming a 99-Year Lease at Majestic View
The Issue
To the Arvada City Council and City staff,
We’re asking the City of Arvada to keep FrontLine Farming at Majestic View and grant them a 99-year lease so they can keep doing the work they’ve already poured into this land and this community.
FrontLine Farming is not just another tenant. They’ve turned this space into something real: a place where food is grown, people learn, neighbors show up, and community gets built. They’ve invested years of labor, care, and vision into Majestic View. Losing them would not just be a bureaucratic decision on a lease. It would be a real loss for Arvada.
We understand the City has raised concerns about safety and lease compliance, and those concerns are being taken seriously. But if something else needs to be fixed, then work with FrontLine. But don’t throw away years of community-building over issues that should be addressed through communication and repair.
A farm like this cannot survive on uncertainty. You don’t build healthy soil, lasting programs, youth education, food access, and community trust one season at a time. You build those things over years and decades. That kind of work needs stability. It needs a future. A 99-year lease would give FrontLine the chance to keep growing, keep investing in the land, and keep serving Arvada for generations.
This should be an easy call. If Arvada says it cares about community, sustainability, and food access, then this is what that looks like. FrontLine Farming has already shown what this land can be. Now the City should do its part and make sure they can stay.
Please stand with FrontLine Farming and grant them a 99-year lease at Majestic View.
