Petition to Address Noise and Antisocial Behaviour from Acton Garden Village Association

Petition to Address Noise and Antisocial Behaviour from Acton Garden Village Association
The Issue
Introduction / Purpose
We, the undersigned residents of Alwyn Gardens , are concerned about the ongoing noise disturbance and antisocial behavior associated with the Acton Garden Village Association at Alwyn Gardens W3 0JH. The frequent noise, late-night disturbances, and unruly behaviour are negatively affecting our quality of life and the wellbeing of our community.
Details of the Problem :Noise: Loud music, shouting, and other disturbances occur regularly, particularly during spring and summer months.
Antisocial Behaviour: Instances of littering, public intoxication, and confrontations outside the centre have been observed.
Impact on Residents: The situation is causing sleep disruption, stress, and concern for safety. It may also affect property values and the overall desirability of our neighbourhood.
Request / Action Sought
We respectfully request that [Ealing Council / Licensing Team ] consider:
Reviewing the association center operating license and its compliance with local noise regulations.
Implementing measures to reduce late-night noise and disturbances.
Increasing monitoring and enforcement of antisocial behaviour in the area.
Consulting with residents on possible solutions to restore peace and safety in our community.
Supporting Statement
As residents, we believe everyone has the right to live in a safe and peaceful environment. Addressing this issue will benefit both the community and responsible local businesses.
Additional Concern: Parking Restrictions
We also request that parking on Alwyn Gardens be restricted to residents’ permit holders only, seven days a week. As a cul-de-sac with very limited spaces, unrestricted parking often leaves residents struggling to find a space near their homes. Introducing this restriction will ensure that residents can park safely and conveniently at any time, improving daily life and reducing stress for those who live here.
Signatures
We, the undersigned, fully support this petition and urge the council to take action.
