Covid has caused much stress, hardship and unhappiness across the U K. Many people struggle to get through the day, feeling lonely and frightened. Particularly so as the pandemic has gone on for so long.

The dogs Olive and Mabel (assisted by Andrew Cotter) on You Tube have brought a bright light in dark times promoting laughter, enjoyment and goodwill to many millions, not only in the UK but recognised across the whole world. 

It would be appropriate for Olive and Mabel, and/or Mr Cotter, to be acknowledged for their past and continued efforts to raise a smile and distract us from dark and anxious times.  Going the extra mile to help others survive this pandemic should be rewarded. Mr Cotter and his girls deserve a public recognition in the form of an award.
