On March 18, I will be attending the Annual General Meeting (AGM) for Caisse Assiniboine Credit Union to formally present our petition and advocate for the reinstatement of the local ATM at our branch. Access to cash is not just a convenience; it is a fundamental necessity for our seniors, local small businesses, everyday residents and those with limited mobility who rely on immediate, 24/7 banking services. All credit union members have access to a massive national network of surcharge-free ATMs therefor even if you don’t bank at Caisse or Assiniboine Credit Union an ATM in St-Georges would benefit you.
