I attend bleyl middle school, where our principal has been constantly neglecting her duties by dismissing serious cases of sexual harassment and sexual assault without reporting them to the authorities. Students and community members have raised concerns that the reports of harassment and assault may not have been handled appropriately. We are asking the district to investigate these concerns and take any action it finds necessary. It's deeply concerning and terrifying that the person responsible for ensuring our safety and integrity of the school environment has repeatedly failed us. 

Not only does she neglect these crucial responsibilities. This principal's actions send a clear message: that our well-being and safety are not her priority. For example, a student I know has brought to my attention that the cases they reported of sexual harassment and assault out of 5 that was reported only two were handled with a “no contact form” meaning the students must stay away from eachother. However in short term this may work. This is a legal matter that needs to be reported, not dismissed. This is unacceptable.

The students, teachers, and staff deserve someone at the helm who genuinely cares, who will respond to reports of harassment and assault with the seriousness they demand. Failing to address these issues leaves us exposed to dangerous situations and creates an unsafe and hostile learning environment where we feel unprotected and undervalued.

Our principal’s ongoing behavior contradicts the school's mission to provide a safe and nurturing space for education. Schools should be places where students and staff feel secure, respected, and fairly treated. Therefore, action must be taken to hold accountable those in leadership positions who fall short of these crucial responsibilities.

To the school board and district officials, it's time to take a stand and end this cycle of negligence. We request immediate action to remove the principal from her position and replace her with a leader who will foster a positive and secure environment for our school community.

Though she is not the only factor in this incident, she still is an issue that needs to be addressed. I believe that school shouldn’t be a place of fear. We have enough on our plates dealing with active threats of shootings and stabs and bombs to have to deal with serious cases that should be prioritise being dismissed. I know multiple people who have been SA’d before it is something that will take a mental and physical toll on your life and is not something that people should stay quiet about. 

However this is all alleged, I have gained statements and people who agree. So if you can share this and post it, I will greatly appreciate it. You do not have to only go to this school to help! Make it known and speak out. We are asking the district to review whether school policies and reporting procedures were followed and to take appropriate action based on the findings. Our goal is to ensure that all students feel safe, supported, and heard when reporting serious incidents.
