Subject: Petition for Fair Review and Reinstatement of Veterinary Practicing License of Dr. Sukhvinder Dhillon

We, the undersigned, respectfully submit this petition in support of a fair and transparent review of the suspension/revocation of the veterinary practicing license of Dr. Sukhvinder Dhillon, with the aim of reinstating the license to practice.

Since losing his livelihood, Dr. Dhillon has been left not only in severe financial distress but also facing significant mental strain. According to information from colleagues, he is currently admitted to the ICU at Abbotsford Hospital.

We understand that regulatory bodies must uphold high standards to ensure public trust and safety. However, we believe that every professional deserves a fair review process that fully considers all relevant facts, circumstances, and any mitigating factors. If there have been shortcomings, we support corrective measures, continued education, or supervised practice where appropriate, rather than permanent exclusion from the profession.

Reinstating Dr. Dhillon’s license—whether fully or conditionally—would not only allow a skilled practitioner to continue contributing to the profession and community but also reflect a balanced approach that values both accountability and rehabilitation.

We respectfully request that the appropriate regulatory authority:

Conduct a thorough, unbiased, and transparent review of Dr. Dhillon’s case.
Provide a clear pathway for reinstatement, including reasonable conditions if necessary.
We believe in fairness, due process, and the opportunity for professionals to learn, grow, and continue serving their communities.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,
Concerned Veterinarians and Supporters
