The Issue

West Coast Certified Auto Collision Will be Fully Compliant and Environmentally Safe

West Coast Certified Auto Collision operates legally, safely, and under strict oversight from:

• Los Angeles County

• The State of California

• South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD)

The shop will use environmentally approved materials, water-based paints, proper ventilation and filtration systems, sealed chemical storage, and licensed hazardous-waste disposal.

These standards are far removed from the industrial practices of the past and pose no threat to the health or air quality of the neighborhood.

2. The Business Actively Improves Local Conditions

Our neighborhood has faced ongoing issues with graffiti and homeless encampments, which have created safety concerns for residents and businesses. West Coast Certified Auto Collision has committed to:

• Maintaining a clean and graffiti-free property

• Working with neighbors to deter vandalism

Monitoring and keeping their area free of encampments

Cooperating with authorities when necessary to keep the block safe

Their presence contributes to a cleaner, safer, and more stable community environment.

3. The Shop Provides Valuable Employment Opportunities

West Coast Certified Auto Collision is a local employer that supports neighborhood families

Hire local residents

Provide training in skilled trades

Support economic growth for the community

At a time when our community needs more opportunity— not less-this business helps strengthen the local economy

4. This Business Is Part of Our Community, Not a Threat to It

Employees, owners, and many customers live in the surrounding neighborhoods.

They care about the same issues we all care about: safety, cleanliness, and environmental responsibility.

 responsibility.

Rather than being a danger, West Coast Certified Auto Collision is an asset-offering services, jobs, security, and stability.5. We Stand for Facts, Not Misinformation

We reject the false narrative that compares a small, permitted auto body shop to major industrial polluters of the past.

Such comparisons are factually inaccurate and unfairly harm responsible small businesses that follow every regulation.

This petition stands for truth, fairness, and support for a business that contributes positively to our community.
