Dear All,

I hope you are keeping well.

Thank you for your support and for signing the petition. We now have around 700 signed to date.

On Saturday, 14th February, the next meeting with councillors will start at 10 am in the Armthorpe Community Centre. It will be an opportunity to air your views. It is important to ask your councillors who they stand by and how they are challenging the development—the more people who can attend, the better. Let them hear your 'voices' and concerns.

A few days ago, a digger appeared in the field, so it seems to be progressing with the planners.

To date, Nineteen47 has not responded to the questions sent to them. This makes any decisions very difficult, and there is clearly a lack of transparency. It was noted in the last meeting that they would respond. They haven't.

I will be emailing all the councillors on the image tonight to outline the key concerns from residents, the lack of communication from nineteen47, and an Excel sheet of the people who have signed the petition.

Furthermore, I have been given details from the FREE PRESS to contact (Harry Harrison)  harry.harrison@iconicmediagroup.co.uk. He is the journalist covering the story.

Overall, this proposal is a weak design and plan and will have long-term consequences for local infrastructure—pollution, noise, and impact on wildlife. There are no specific details on the topology of the new housing (two -to three-storey), which will impact residents 'right to light. Why wouldn't they build bungalows? It's not profitable.

There is no transparency on resident feedback. Trucks and lorries passing two primary schools could be dangerous to residents, damage your existing roads, and cause a constant barrage of traffic. There is little due process in the design implications of requiring traffic to travel through a single exit. This is a design failure.

Keep the pressure on. Continue the challenge. This is immoral, unethical, and will clearly harm the environment.

Best

W Fearn
