Mundelein & 2 Other area HS's Drop BlocK

What's the deal with block scheduling? What kind? Why don't we know the plan? Why isn't their stakeholder input into that issue? Per the Daily Herald 2/10/16 "Mundelein High wouldn't be the first suburban school to abandon a block schedule. Wauconda High, Dundee-Crown High in Carpentersville and Jacobs High in Algonquin all tried it but reverted to traditional school days. Conversely, a committee recently recommended Barrington High adopt a block schedule." Begs the question: why is BHS, a top ranked school at #85, going to use a system that failed to work for years in other schools? http://www.dailyherald.com/article/20160211/news/160219703/
