The Issue
In our current workplace(Provantage), we are faced with several critical issues pertaining to the payment of bonuses, which have substantially impacted employee morale and trust. Many of us have experienced missed bonus payments without any prior notice or explanation, creating financial strain and uncertainty. This has been compounded by a profound lack of communication regarding how bonuses are structured, as well as the schedules for these payments, leaving us in the dark about our expected earnings.
In addition, the transition between old and new company constructs has been handled poorly, resulting in a confusing landscape where employees are unsure how their remuneration is determined. Contracts that previously outlined salary structures have become ambiguous, and there has been no transparent alignment with the current corporate policy. This lack of clarity has left many employees frustrated and uncertain about their financial future within the company.
Furthermore, the absence of timely feedback on performance against targets exacerbates this issue. Our targets are monthly, and yet we operate in quarterly reviews, leaving a gap in performance feedback that is crucial for employees striving to meet their objectives.
Open and honest communication about bonus payments is fundamental for maintaining trust and fairness within an organization. We are calling on our company's management to address these issues urgently. Transparent discussions around bonus structures, clarity in contractual agreements, and regular performance feedback are essential steps that need to be implemented.
By signing this petition, we hope to encourage our company to take immediate action to resolve these pressing concerns, restoring trust and enhancing workplace morale. An engaged and informed workforce is vital to the success of any company, and it is time for our management to reflect these values in their practices.
Requests:
We respectfully request that the company:
- Provide a clear explanation for missed bonuses by Friday 5th September 25 or all operations will be stopped.
- The need to pay this two previous bonuses and then ensure timely payment of future bonuses
- establish transparent communication channels regarding bonus structures, performance expectations and payment schedules
- clarify the remuneration framework, specifically how salaries and bonuses are determined under the old contract construct versus the new company construct.
- commit to regular, proactive communication regarding performance metrics, targets and their impact on bonuses.
