Petition for the Review, Restriction, and

Petition for the Removal and Demonetization of All Music by D4vd (David Burke) Following Criminal Proceedings in Connection with the Death of Celeste Rivas Hernandez.

I am formally requesting that major streaming and media platforms including YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, and TikTok immediately review, restrict, and where appropriate remove or demonetize music associated with the artist known as D4vd, David Burke.

This request arises from criminal proceedings associated with the death of fourteen year old Celeste Rivas Hernandez, as well as additional charges involving a minor.

David Anthony Burke, 21, has been charged with murder, continuous sexual abuse of a minor, and related offenses.

According to publicly reported case details and prosecutor filings, contact between the individual and Celeste began when she was a child, at approximately eleven years old. It has been reported that a relationship later developed when she was fourteen years old, despite parental intervention and efforts to prevent continued communication. These reported facts, taken together with the charges in this case, reflect a pattern of conduct that raises serious and deeply concerning issues involving the safety and protection of a minor.

The criminal proceedings arising from the death of Celeste Rivas Hernandez involve multiple serious charges, including allegations of unlawful sexual conduct involving a minor. The severity of these proceedings underscores the gravity of harm alleged and raises substantial concerns regarding accountability and the continued promotion or support of content connected to the individual involved.

Celeste Rivas Hernandez was a child.

She had a future, a family, and a life that was taken.

Her name must be recognized, her life must be honored, and her story must not be overshadowed by continued support of the individual connected to this case.

This matter is not limited to a single case. It reflects a broader issue within the music industry. Artists connected to serious criminal conduct involving minors should not continue to receive platform support, visibility, or financial benefit through streaming, promotion, or monetization. When platforms continue to distribute and amplify this content, it raises serious ethical concerns and undermines public trust.

Under federal law, including 18 U.S.C. § 981(a)(1)(C), proceeds derived from unlawful conduct may be subject to forfeiture, and under 18 U.S.C. § 3663A, restitution to victims is mandated in cases involving harm. These statutes reflect a clear legal principle that individuals must not financially benefit from conduct involving the exploitation, injury, or death of another person.

In addition, state statutes further restrict the ability of individuals to profit from the notoriety or proceeds of their crimes. These legal standards reinforce the principle that no individual should derive financial gain from conduct involving harm to others.

In light of these legal and ethical considerations, the continued monetization, promotion, and distribution of music associated with David Burke raises serious concerns regarding whether platforms are enabling indirect financial benefit connected to conduct involving harm to a minor.

Even where content predates these events, the ongoing distribution, promotion, and monetization of such material under these circumstances warrants immediate and thorough review.

Accordingly, I request that these platforms conduct a comprehensive review of all content associated with this individual, remove or demonetize content where appropriate under applicable policies, suspend algorithmic promotion and recommendation of such material, and implement and enforce clear standards addressing artists connected to conduct involving harm to minors.

This request is made in the interest of accountability, ethical responsibility, and the protection of minors.

Celeste Rivas Hernandez was a child. Her life mattered. Her name must be remembered.

Please sign this petition and stand for accountability. The music industry must not continue to provide a platform, visibility, or financial benefit to individuals connected to egregious conduct involving minors. Justice requires that no person be permitted to retain influence or profit in the aftermath

 of such harm.
