The Issue

We, the undersigned parents, guardians, faculty, alumni, and members of the Holy Rosary community, respectfully submit this petition asking that the decision to terminate Darren Mullis be reconsidered.

For many years, Darren Mullis has been much more than the person who served as our principal. He has been a trusted leader, mentor, advocate, and familiar face to generations of students and families. He has dedicated years of his life to this school and to the children entrusted to his care.

He is deeply respected and genuinely loved by our students, faculty, staff, and parents. His commitment to the school and its Catholic mission has been evident not only in his role as principal, but in the relationships he has built throughout the community.

That is why his sudden dismissal has been so difficult for many of us to understand and accept.

When a longtime leader who has earned the trust and affection of an entire school community is removed, the impact extends far beyond one individual. It affects students, teachers, families, morale, and the sense of stability that is so important in a Catholic school.

We recognize that personnel matters can involve circumstances that cannot be publicly discussed. However, we also believe that the voices of the people who have worked with, learned from, and trusted Darren Mullis for years deserve to be heard.

We are asking the administration to listen to the school community and reconsider this decision.

We respectfully request:

 ● That Darren Mullis’s termination be reconsidered and that he be reinstated as principal.

 ● That the concerns and perspectives of parents, students, faculty, and staff be meaningfully heard.

 ● That the administration provide as much transparency as possible regarding the decision, while respecting legitimate personnel confidentiality.

 ● That the tremendous impact of this decision on our school community be carefully considered.

This petition is not about creating division. It is about making sure that the people who make up this school community have a voice.

We believe in our school. We believe in its Catholic mission. We believe in supporting our teachers, staff, and students. And we believe that a man who has spent years faithfully serving this community deserves to know that his work, his leadership, and the relationships he has built have not gone unnoticed.

The number of people willing to stand together on his behalf is itself a testament to the kind of principal he has been.

We respectfully ask the administration to reconsider this decision and give serious consideration to the overwhelming support of the school community.

Please hear our voices. Please listen to our concerns. And please reconsider the decision to remove a principal who has meant so much to our school and our children.

With respect and in the spirit of our Catholic community,

We, the undersigned members of the Holy Rosary community, respectfully request the reinstatement of Darren Mullis.
