Petition for the Appointment of Filippo (Phil) Indelicato as Full-Time Instructor
Petition for the Appointment of Filippo (Phil) Indelicato as Full-Time Instructor
The Issue
To Whom It May Concern,
We, the undersigned, respectfully request the appointment of Mr. Filippo (Phil) Indelicato as a full-time instructor within the Construction, Architecture, and Civil program at St. Clair College. Mr. Indelicato’s extensive experience and positive impact on students make him an invaluable candidate for this role.
Background and Qualifications:
Filippo Indelicato brings over 30 years of comprehensive experience in the construction industry, spanning various roles that equip him with a deep understanding of the field. His expertise is particularly vital in Surveying, Estimating, Construction Theory, and Material Testing—areas essential to the curriculum yet currently underserved by available faculty.
Previous Teaching Experience:
Mr. Indelicato has previously taught at St. Clair College, where he received overwhelmingly positive feedback for his engaging teaching style and effective conveyance of complex materials.
Current Teaching Needs:
There is a notable shortage of qualified individuals to teach Estimation, Surveying, and Material Testing. Mr. Indelicato’s skill set directly addresses these gaps, promising to elevate the educational offerings and better prepare our students for professional success.
Call to Action:
Given Mr. Indelicato’s proven track record and the current instructional needs of the Construction, Architecture, and Civil program, we strongly urge his consideration for a full-time teaching position. His appointment will fill a critical instructional gap and enhance our students' learning environment and outcomes.
We appeal to John Byng, Chair of the School of Engineering Technologies, and Patti France, President of St. Clair College, to recognize the significant benefits Mr. Indelicato’s full-time appointment would bring to the program and our students' futures.
Thank you for considering this petition. We look forward to your favourable response and the continued enhancement of St. Clair College's educational programs.
